As soon as Aiden apperated back to his house he knew that everyone was home by the yelling inside. Sighing he opened the door and saw his mother and brother arguing, and to his surprise his father was trying to end it.
Aiden slammed the door shut by accident and everyone turned to him. He could see the concern look on their faces. Aiden had looked down at himself and he was covered in blood. He shook his head, trying to tell them he didn't want to talk about it and headed up to his room to change.
"Wait a minute Aiden, what happened to you?" Christian asked.
"Not now Christian." Aiden said.
The three of them were shocked that Aiden called his father by his first name. Aiden was so aggervated he didn't care. He started up the stairs again when his brother spoke.
"What has gotten into you?" Chris Jr. asked.
"It's not what's gotten into me, it's what's on me." Aiden said. He turned around to them, lifted up his sleeve and showed the Dark Mark on his arm with the word 'Prince' in the middle. "I'm the Dark Lord's heir." he said then going to his room and slamming the door.
When Aiden got in his room, he took off his clothes and got in the shower. As he got out of the shower, he saw his brother sitting on his bed. Aiden didn't say anything, he waited for Chris Jr. to speak first but he didn't say anything. Ignoring his brother, Aiden got dressed in the bathroom. He hoped when he came out his brother wasn't going to be there but he was.
Aiden could see that something was bothering him but Aiden didn't care about anyone but himself right now. He needed to talk to the Dark Lord, so he got his black robe and was about to leave but Chris Jr. called him back.
"So, my uncle chose you to be his heir?"Chris Jr. asked trying not to show anger in his voice .
"Yes, not everything goes your way brother." Aiden said not paying any attention to his brother.
"I was suppose to be his heir, you're not even related to him!"
"You know, he gave me a mission to kill Christian." he said ignoring his last comment.
"What? Why does he want father dead?"
"I don't think he wants him dead. He probably just wants to see I'm loyal to him and that I will do anything he ask me too, including killing our father." Chris said fixing his robe. "Now if you will excuse me, I have to go talk to the Dark Lord." Aiden said before he apperated away.
